Dear Visitor,

You also might receive offers in a first view looking lower than ours. But, in a first view only. This, because all those offers show you the price Hong Kong or China fob only. That on top of that you further have to pay for transportation and insurance you get told only after you have ordered and perhaps cannot move out anymore. But, there is more. On arrival in EU in such case you would have to pay the custom and VAT. This means for instance for Germany (4% + 19%= 23%) on (fob price + shipping costs + costs for insurance = 100%). That, these suppliers either don’t tell you at all or very unclear only. The whole practice is extremely unfair to customers and also expensive for them.

The reality in such case for MC34-AB approximately looks as follows:

Price fob for item                           EUR                      590.00

Shipping and insurance 45 kg        EUR                      292.50 at least *)

Sub Total                                           EUR                      882.50

4% custom+19% VAT                      EUR                      202.98 German situation

Final costs                                         EUR                    1085.48

*) Freight is calculated on EUR 6.50 per kg a rate what the courier services offer to their large commercial customers only, meaning it also could be higher.

Some of those dealers might offer you a lower declaration of price in invoice accompanying the goods. This is illegal, a criminal act. Custom in EU knows very well on that. It also easily is to find out by reading the website of such dealers.

In such case custom authorities will not accept invoice and fix custom according to what they say has to be the real on. Sure then you pay not only the regular custom and VAT but, a higher as punishment. This whole thing is fully on the risk of customer. Supplier in any case is fine. He has shifted his risk just to his customer.

Additionally, you might receive either no warranty, or one valid only, if in case of you send and return items on your account to them in Hong Kong or China, a very costly thing for you, but, not for them. If you don’t send, their position is simply no warranty.

Repairing of item with the manufacturer or exchange to a new one with them you can forget totally.

This perhaps you should consider when making your decision.
