General

The influence of AC quality over audio-video equipment is very similar to that of drinking water over human health in relationship. Stable, accurate, as well as pure and non-contaminated power voltage is a very important condition for audio-video equipment and apparatus to fully play their functions at original designed due level.

In governmental standard “GB/T14549-1993”, the upper-limit value for harmonic wave (distortion) of voltage in low-tension public power grid is 5%, and power supply in low-tension terminal (single phase 220V/three phase 380V) of public power grid belongs to “rough power” in the eyes of experts on electric power. Under the situation when load of power consumption is compacted and complicated, the actual situation will also very often exceed the international allowance. Grievous harmonic wave and noise interference can frequently lead the music played by Hi-end apparatus with preeminent performance and strong resolving power to be put to shame intermingled with noise. DC component generated by asymmetrical AC waveform will also very often lead to noise of vibrations with low IR transformer of large-power Hi-end amplifiers due to DC bias, and in a tranquil environment, the noise of vibration with transformer may no doubt cause most details in music to be relentlessly submerged. The universal influence of AC quality over top-grade audio-video apparatus has become a trouble for a long time in the mind of A-V fanciers.

Private power users normally cannot order high-quality power energy from power supply departments like high-standard enterprise users, however, forward-looking senior players have long before begun using shielded high-level power leads, electric wave filters, isolation transformers, and even high-performance power processors, to improve the AC quality of AV equipments.

Measurements have proved that AC processed with high-level power processing devices can not only ensure a voltage stability and accuracy of circuits, but also minimize the voltage harmonic wave and interference noise to below 0.5% and eliminate DC components, while providing apparatus with high-quality AC is no doubt an important guarantee for safe operation, extension in service life, and improvement of AV replaying quality of AV apparatus.

Description

DUSSUN X Series Pure AC Power Conditioner, based on the latest developed “Precision Waveform Amendment” technique, is able to reduce distortion of power waveform, eliminate interference, and stabilize voltage, thus to achieve highly pure AC power energy, through real-time monitoring of AC waveforms and speedy amendment of any error with drift from sine wave track.. By using visual precision measurement devices, for instance such as “Dussun” CT-1 AC Quality Meter, the changes in quality of highly-contaminated power energy before and after processing with  X800/X1200 are observed and measured, and their huge difference may normally enable observers to seriously survey the issues with power supply.

The “Precision Waveform Amendment” system mainly composed of low IR speedy amplifier, digital low distortion benchmark signal source, and high energy-storage power supply performs real-time, continuous, and precise amendment on range of waveform at a responding speed faster by thousands of times than cycle of urban power, thus to ensure a perfect sine wave with very low distortion and extremely high stable voltage for X800/X1200 output waveforms. X800/X1200 output apparent power depends on load, and can reach 500VA/1200VA, respectively under the environment of good ventilation and radiation conditions, while the capacity of peak value output can moreover reach 2 times that of the maximum rated output. The internal resistance of X800/X1200 is extremely low, and the variation of its output voltage is very small within the scope of rated power, able to eliminate voltage fluctuation arising from power supply circuit during change in loads, its super-strong transient power supply capacity and stable output voltage can provide music play with most accurate dynamic response, and its prompt responding speed is incomparable with traditional AC voltage regulators, absolutely free from the occurrence of dynamic compression with general AC power processors severely criticized by people. The electrical efficiency during the rated output power exceeds 80%,  higher by far then the linear (AC-DC-AC) regenerated AC power, able to provide more vigorous power output than the former under the same volume (weight) in addition to a low heating level.

X800/X1200 have adopted a DUSSUN-unique “Synchronous Cycle Processing” technique, so that the output voltage and the input voltage are always maintained precisely identical to each other in terms of frequency and phase, free from video bias tape and zero position oscillation when applied to AC systems, and able to avoid beat interference of different power supply frequencies, for a stable display of measurement indication value.

X800/X1200 completely in linear operation are able to effectively reduce the distortion of original power waveform by a big margin, and due to the innate superiority of linear operating mode, the output voltage is fully free from the high-frequency noise and radiation of electromagnetic interference (EMI) arising from pulse width modulation (PWM) mode which is difficult for switching AC power processors.

X800/X1200 are built in with highly stable digital display meter, able to precisely display “input voltage”, “output voltage”, and “output current” on a real-time basis.

X800/X1200 are set with two groups of power output sockets through wave filtration (4 output sockets for each group), so that they can be connected to devices with different groups of sockets for mutual impact to be minimized. The normal method of use is to connect the simulated and digital equipments with sockets of different groups respectively, or to connect the small-power and large-power equipments with sockets of different groups respectively to reduce mutual interference.

Design of X800/X1200 fully is in compliance with security specifications, with restraint device for surge of high voltage set inside the system, able to restrain high voltage surge from power circuit and voltage overshoot (such as electric surge of lightning). Its outer shell in aluminum-magnesium alloy is securely connected with grounding system, to ensure that it is always in a reliable secured status under any circumstances. When output power reaches or exceeds the design allowance, buzzer will generate alarms, and when it is seriously overloaded, they will automatically disconnect the output voltage to ensure that it is not damaged and power can only be recovered by manual re-starting, which is to be recognized by users.

X800/X1200 are applicable to occasions with requirement of high-quality power supply and free from noise interference. For precision measurement environments, X800/X1200 can serve as standard AC power supply, to provide pure electric power for various devices.
