Let us describe with the manufacturer's XINDAK original words in perfect Chinese English the function principle of this unique sound tuning tool. "It is learned that vibration is arch-enemy affecting acoustic quality. Usually, there are two resolutions. One is absorption; the other is isolation. But, the XINDAK engineers have developed a new device, named as Spherical Cone Base Plate for Vibration Tuning (SCBVT), to solve the damage of acoustic quality because of vibration. Its principle is to convert vertical vibration into horizontal dis-placement. The structure of SCBVT is: putting a ball in a pit of compact inert material, the base of acoustics put on the ball in form of a point contact. The result is: First it makes play of isolating vibration; secondly, hazardous vibration of acoustics equably spreads inside the whole inert base trough the ball and is absorbed. Meanwhile assortment of the base and the ball material is able to turn hazardous vibration of the former system in frequency point hurtles to acoustic quality. Actual audition has proved adopting bases and balls of different materials gains different effects of acoustic quality and tone color.

XINDAK presently offers 5 different material combinations. The type offered here is: VT2-RP consisting of base plate in red sandal wood and balls made of special ceramics. XINDAK describes its application and the results what can be achieves as follows: "HF and MF are obviously improved with very abundant details of music, sweet voice, accurate position of sound field, and good feeling of space and air. LF is strong with nice analysis, especially bass drum has flexibility and strength." Suggestion from the manufacturer: "If used under CD players what have less analysis or music and less strength, it will get upgrading effect instantly." Our own tests confirm this absolutely. It is enough just to put three blocks with balls like a triangle under acoustics such as CD players and so on for use. Attention, please !!! Most of your acoustics might be equipped with dampers, spikes and so on mounted on your device. Never place the XINDAK Dampers under such part. Just put your acoustics with their bottom plate on the dampers balls directly, in this way eliminating any negative influence what might come from the unit's original damper system. Try different positions under the base plate to find out the optimum.
